Teresa Foster

Teresa Foster was born in a small West Texas farming community.  Her family moved to Fort Worth in order to make a living as many families did during the 50's.  Teresa currently lives in Arlington, TX and recently retired from a 26 year career as an art teacher in public schools.

"I knew I was an artist when my first grade teacher gave me extra time on the easel.  Being a teacher made me a better artist and being an artist made me a better teacher.  At my retirement celebration I spoke to my fellow teachers and students about how I gladly shared my thoughts, my ideas, and techniques to my students and that it was now time to begin the process of devoting my own ideas to my own work."
