Chesley Smith

Chesley Smith is a native to Waco, Texas. He graduated from A.J. Moore High School in 1963. He continued his education in Art instructional schools. Minneapolis, Minnesota; Jarvis Christian College, Hawkins, Texas; East Texas State University, Commerce, Texas; Banara Hindu University, Varnaasi, India; and Grambling State University, Grambling, Louisiana.

He has taught Art in many academic arenas, including Paul Quinn College, The Waco Creative Art Center, Nolan Middle School in Killeen, and the Waco Independent School District where he currently teaches at Brazos Middle School.

In his many years in the Art Field, he has exhibited his works in Television Exhibitions, Group Shows and one man shows. As well, he has served as an Art Consultant here in Waco and throughout the state of Texas.
