TCBHGS Membership

Membership

Your membership in the Tarrant County Black Historical and Genealogical Society marks a dedication to history and culture. The Society is a 501-C-3 nonprofit organization and contributions are tax deductible. Funds raised through membership are applied to the maintenance of the Society's facilities and records.

They also finance activities hosted by the Society. TCBHGS membership privileges include a year’s use of the Society’s genealogical facilities as well as a subscription to the Society’s newsletter.

With your membership, also enjoy a complimentary hour-long introduction to genealogical research coordinated by our Preservation and Education Chair.

Members and volunteers enjoy outstanding benefits throughout the year.

You will gain more knowledge about the African American history in the city of Fort Worth.

You will see it first… either by moving to the front of the line or being among the members who help make it happen.

Your membership enables us to engage with the public to preserve the legacy of our generation.
